Curating community through music and the arts since 1999.

Showcasing the best of the Southeast and creating community through music, arts, and culture in Macon, Georgia.

While we are saddened that our typical Bragg Jam Concert Crawl was canceled in 2020, the Bragg Jam board and team are so excited to present a special live performance at Mercer Music at Capricorn with The Buckley’s, the band whose members inspired what became Bragg Jam over 20 years ago.

2020 has been an unprecedented year to say the least, but one thing that always brings us back together is music. Music brings us hope. Even if we can’t be together physically, we can still celebrate the power of music from afar.

Bringing people together to celebrate live music is what drives Bragg Jam, but for the time being we must pause to let our city heal.

Please enjoy this performance and, if you can, purchase a T-shirt or make a donation to help us ensure Bragg Jam’s Concert Crawl will be back July 30 and 31, 2021 and better than ever.

Take care of each other and yourselves,

The Bragg Jam Board and Team

Bringing incredible music and live entertainment to the city that has accepted me, the place that I love and call home, is extremely important to me.

How it all began...
Our History and Mission

During the summer of 1999, Macon singer/songwriter Brax Bragg was on the brink of something big. He had just recorded a CD with his new band the Buckleys, and they were scheduled to set out on tour. But before hitting the highway with his band, Brax took his baby brother Tate, an accomplished classical guitarist, on a cross-country road trip.

While traveling through Texas on July 3, the brothers’ lives were tragically cut short by a car accident. Back in Macon, friends were reeling at the news of the brothers’ tragic deaths. Russell Walker, a friend of the family and fellow musician, organized an impromptu jam session of local musicians to celebrate and honor the Bragg brothers’ talented lives.
