Bragg Jam Moonlight Miles 5K, Saturday, July 18th @ Tatnall Square Park

Remember Corey Hart? He wore his sunglasses at night. Well, Bragg Jam is lacing up because we wear our sneakers at night. It's just cooler... weatherwise and because no one else around here has a race at night.

This year the route starts and finishes in the same place so there will be NO TROLLEYS. The overwhelming response last year took organizers by surprise, but not this year. This year, when folks start filing up in Tatnall Square Park for the pre-race fun and festivities, Bragg Jam will be ready for the big crowd.

And to add an extra edge to this year's race, there's a $250 top prize for the fastest overall male and fastest overall female. For the other end of the spectrum, we've also added a one-mile fun run/dog trot to the start.After the race, once we've given out the awards, we're gonna screen the hilarious Run, Fatboy, Run for everyone's viewing pleasure.

When you pre-register for $20 ($25 day of race), you get a cool shirt, the joy of running the beautiful course, which goes through Macon's beautiful In-Town neighborhood and around Mercer Campus, great fun and games, and a movie afterwards. Plus, you can feel good knowing our profits benefit the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail and the Cox Capitol Theatre.

The Fun Run starts at 8:30p and the 5k begins at 9:15p when the sun is down and the temperature cools off! But you can join the Bragg Jam crew at Tattnall Square Park at 7:30 p for all the fun.

(Awards go to top runners in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+. Only pre-registered runners are guaranteed the stylish Moonlight Miles t-shirt.)
