Unlike any other race in middle Georgia, the Moonlight Miles begins just after 8:30pm and continues as the sun goes down— the cool way to beat the heat. Runners will meet at 7:30pm in the parking lot in front of Luther Williams Field, register (if necessary), pick up race packets, and take a trolley to the Moonlight Miles start near Shirley Hills. The course is mostly flat, with occasional hills, offering a moderate challenge for runners (or walkers) of any level. The course takes place, for the most part, on the lush and gorgeous Ocmulgee Heritage Trail along the Ocmulgee River and ends in Central City Park. Awards for the first overall male and female runners, as well as to the top three runners in each age group. (14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+) All pre-registered runners will get a stylish T-shirt, and those registering on race day will receive a T-shirt while they last!
